For centuries, the Deschutes River has been one of central Oregon’s greatest blessings. Flowing more than 250 miles from the Cascade Range into the Columbia River, it was a key waterway for Native Americans, and in the 19th century became a vital resource for pioneers arriving via the Oregon Trail. Today, it remains essential to the Pacific Northwest’s eco-system – as well as an essential place to experience endless fun out on the water. Sunriver Resort makes it easy to discover all the thrills of the Deschutes.
Row, Row, Row Your Boat

Sunriver Resort's Marina allows you to take advantage of the incredible kayaking and canoeing available near Bend, Oregon, both on-property and just off-property. The Marina rents canoes, kayaks, and more to both resort guests and the general public and the Marina Shop has everything you need for your adventures – sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, snacks and apparel. The staff here is also full of knowledge about where to go and what you’ll see on the Deschutes.
